This project began as a dated, compartmentalised flat in Koramangala. The brief was simple: open it up, let light in, make it feel like home again. What followed was a six-week transformation that redefined how the family moved through their space.

Precision drawings, MEP coordination, structural analysis, and BOQ documentation — all prepared in-house. This phase is where great design becomes buildable, on budget and on time.

03 Custom Craftsmanship & Civil Works +

Our workshop crafts custom furniture, joinery, and millwork to exact specifications. Civil works — flooring, false ceilings, tiling, plumbing, electrical — are executed by our vetted crew with quality control at every stage.

04 Execution & Project Management +

A dedicated project manager oversees your site daily. You receive weekly progress reports, live photo updates, and clear timelines. No surprises, no delays that aren't explained.

05 Finishing & After-Sales Support +

The final handover includes a thorough snag list walkthrough, deep cleaning, and a 12-month warranty on workmanship. We're available after handover — because our relationship doesn't end at the door.

Meet Chandru

"Every home has a story waiting to be told. My job is to help families tell it well."

I started Design Interior Studio after a decade working across some of Bangalore's most respected architectural firms. I kept noticing the same gap: beautiful designs that didn't account for how real families actually live.

So I built a studio around a different idea — that good design should be deeply personal, practically considered, and honest about budget and timeline. Today, our team of 14 handles everything in-house, from the first sketch to the final coat of paint.
